We invite all who have yet to place their faith in Christ to know Him!
God’s plan to offer eternal life Please consider what God has for you. From the very beginning, God has always made a way for people to trust in Him and receive the gift of eternal life. Genesis 1.26,27: Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. You are made in the very image of God, male and female are equal in God’s eyes and worthy of being reconciled to Him. No matter what your past may be like, God has always been ready to offer forgiveness. In fact, God loves the whole world and wants everyone to receive His gift of grace. John 3.16,17: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. Jesus came to share the message of eternal life. He did not come to condemn anyone. He does look upon our souls and knows that we have done wrong and that we are separated from God from birth. So He came to offer the path to reconciliation - forgiveness. Romans 1.20-25: For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man--and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever.
It may seem harsh that God does not simply offer forgiveness of sin to everyone, even those who do not want to trust in Him. Please consider that God’s plan is for people to want to follow Him, that is would be a choice and not that He makes people do it. The trust is that God’s grace is offered to everyone in the world but it is only applied to those who want to change and place their faith in Christ who offers freedom from the penalty of sin but also peace and joy that comes through faith in Him. Romans 6.23: For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. We are all born separated from God and have the opportunity to place our faith in the Savior. God has always made this possible for people to trust in Him. If it were impossible the Bible would be untrue. Ephesians 2.8,9: For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. God’s grace, the forgiveness of sin and our reconciliation to Him, come to us through faith in Jesus. God’s Word teaches us that God is so caring and patient and does not want anyone to be left out. 2 Peter 3.9: The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 1 Timothy 2.3,4: For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. You have been created by God to be able to trust in Him and follow Him. The life that He has planned for you to grow spiritually is taught all throughout the Word of God. The Bible can be hard to understand at first but, in time and through consistent study, discipleship, and prayer, you will know more and more about what God has for you and others.
Romans 5.8: But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. God demonstrated just how much He loves this world by coming as a man to live with us, to share our human existence with all of the pain and suffering. He came to be the needed sacrifice that would pay for the penalty of sin brought on by the choice that Adam and Eve made to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Truly trusting in Jesus and having a real desire to live according to His Word will result in a change with you. You will be reborn and given the gift of eternal life. Romans 10:9,10,13: that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved." To “confess” the Lord Jesus simply means to call out to Him and share with Him that you to truly trust in Him and want to follow Him. When you call out to Him, He will then apply His grace to your life and you will feel the blessing of eternal life. This does not mean life will be perfect. What it means is that because of faith in Him you will have strength to make it through the many difficulties that we all face in this world until we arrive into His presence. 2 Corinthians 6.2: For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. If it is your desire to place your faith in Christ, please call out to Him and share that desire. You can ask Him to lead you in following Him and living a new life of faith.
